With Restaurant Varmár’s unique location we are given an opportunity to use the amazing force of nature to cook in the natural hot springs. By the front door we have dug up one of the hot springs underneath and now use it for cooking! Every morning we bake traditional Icelandic rye-bread in the bubbling well and offer our guests the opportunity of boiling their own eggs down there too! This has proven to be a popular sport and an excellent opportunity to take pictures of one of the uniquely Icelandic adventures.
